This Week at AtlantaBraves.About.com!

Been falling behind on my schedule, but here's four articles I posted this week at my other blog. I've also posted two recent posts here at this blog.

The Braves have said they want to go shopping for relief help to supplement Arodys Vizcaino, Jason Grilli, and others. Who should they target? My thinking is that they don't get too much into the big priced free agents and focus more on some more affordable options and buy-low guys. Maybe less Tyler Clippard and more Antonio Bastardo and Shawn Kelley.

7 Braves Better for Leaving Baseball

Not all draft picks work out, but many do find employment elsewhere where they reach new successes. These seven focused on football with one of them becoming a Hall of Famer and another becoming one of the most well-known coaches in college football.

The Braves Should Avoid Daniel Murphy

While his World Series run so far has not been nearly as successful as his seven-homer barrage against the Cardinals and Cubs, Daniel Murphy has still increased his value and exposure as he prepared to hit the free agent market. Even though the Braves could use help at second base, they should stay away from Murphy. The years, production, and money are just not good fits for the Braves.
